Our beloved cow Prissy gave birth to a healthy female calf 3 days back. Though the calf is still very young, she is already running around the farm like a pro. With her beautiful reddish brown skin, she appears more like her father who is a Sahiwal bull than her mother,Prissy who belongs to the holstein friesian breed.

Today is Vasant Panchami which marks the end of winter & heralds in spring in the Indian subcontinent. All of us at Nirvi Gau Sadan are very excited & glad to have Prissy’s new born as our sunshine; exemplifying the arrival of fresh spring on our farm.
