Conducted puja & havan on the auspicious occasion of Narsimha Jayanti; followed by cow feeding at the premises of Rescue Ma on May 4, 2023. Also, fed jaggery and green fodder to stray cows in the Jollygrant & Ranipokhri area in Dehradun.
Cows were fed bananas, carrots, wheat bran & green fodder as part of the monthly feeding program. Through this initiative we aim to generate awareness about the importance of cows in our culture & society & their nutritional requirements.
Found a puppy near Jollygrant airport with amputated arm and fractured leg. Dressed his wounds besides giving painkiller & antibiotics. Fostered him for a day and has now shifted him to a vet hospital in Dehradun. Anybody who is interested to adopt, please contact us.
As part of an ongoing initiative to save the abandoned cows from accidents, our volunteers helped us put reflective collars on 10 more cows in the Jolly Grant area in Dehradun.
Dr Winthrop, a renowned vet from Trinadad (South America) visited our farm on Mar 9, 2023. We talked about sustainable dairy farming & products that we are making using cow dung.
We at Rescue Ma provided first aid; and with the help of some volunteers shifted her to Kanji House on Mar 5, 2023
