Got an opportunity to host Punganur cows for a day at our farm in Dehradun. Punganur dwarf cattle which originated from the Chitoor District of Andhra Pradesh in southern India is among the world’s smallest humped cattle breeds.
As part of our continuous endeavour to protect the stray cows from accidents, we tied reflective collars to more than 10 strays today in the jolly grant area of Dehradun.
Cows were fed green fodder & bananas by Kamal Didi & Sailaja ji from Swami Rama Himalayan University.
Met with the young volunteers & had a constructive discussion on different ways to protect the stray cows from accidents.
